Zulu Lightspeed

Forum - Technik & Flugzeuge

    -Spannungsabfall unter Last? Batterie.

-1 Batterie schwach, die andere nicht?

    -oxidation im Batteriefach...

  • Hallo Uwe

    Hi Uwe,

Thank you for your email.  I′m sorry you′re having an issue with your headset.  We can have your headset come in for repair.  For headsets within the 5 year warranty repair and return shipping is free (serial number under head cushion starts with 1).  For those original Zulu and Sierra headsets that are past  the 5 year warranty (serial number under head cushion starts with 7 or 8), the repair is $100 and includes shipping within the US or Canada.   There would be an additional charge of $65 outside the US or Canada.  Please give us a call to place your service request and to provide your credit card by phone.    Repair takes about 5 days plus shipping time.  We have certified repair centers in Australia, Brazil, Germany and here in the US (at our factory in Oregon).  We do not ship parts for repair in the field or provide technical data.

If your headset is still within the warranty period you can place your service request through the website.  Please copy the link below into your browser and log a new Service Request.

Current customers can log in with their existing email ID & password, and new customers can easily create an account.

Providing detailed information regarding the symptoms you’ve encountered will expedite the service process.   Describe the frequency and how the issue affects the mic, audio or anr.  The information provided will be reviewed by our Service Team. You will receive a confirming email with a Return Authorization (RA) number and details on where to ship the headset for service, or we will respond with a request for more information.  You′ll find the serial number under the removable head cushion.
Soft goods (ear seals and head pads) are wear items that can easily be replaced in the field and are readily available for purchase. Lightspeed recommends fresh, replacement soft goods every 18 months to ensure peak noise cancellation performance and comfort. To purchase these items, please visit our website.

If you prefer to have the soft goods replaced while the headset is in for repair, please contact Lightspeed with payment information.  Ear seals are $20 (pn A490) for the pair and the head cushion is $10 (pn #A483), we will install a fresh mic cover at no charge.  Our international repair centers do not have these items available for replacement however you can purchase them on our website or find a dealer near you on our dealer locator.

Or, provide your address,  phone number and serial number and I′ll get back to you with return instructions.

We also have a great trade in program and can accept your headset "as is".  You′ll find trade in values on our website.

Thanks and let me know if I can be of any further help.

    Best regards,

    Jan
