Hallo Apple-Freaks ;)
Ich moechte gerne in SD erstellte Routen vom iPad in das im Cockpit installierte Garmin 296 uebertragen. Direkt waere natuerlich toll... Oder sonst einen Workaround, um das GPX-File irgendwie da rein zu bekommen, das iPad hat ja keinen USB-Anschluss............ :(
Hat jemand eine praktische Idee?

Schau mal bei EBAY und gib "ipad USB" ein....da gibt′s jede Menge USB Adapter zu kaufen (nicht mit Lade-USB verwechseln!).

warum schickst Du Dir die Route nicht aus SD per Mail auf einen PC mit USB-Anschluss? Ich kenne zwar das Garmin nicht, das sollte doch dann kein Problem sein, oder?

Problem ist eben, dass das Garmin im Flieger ist und ich dort keinen PC sondern nur die iPads habe.
Und mit dem angesprochenen USB-Adapter wuerde das tatsaechlich gehen?

Habe das hier im SD-Forum gefunden:
There is a little nice app called “Garmin Exchanger” on the market. With SD
Android you plan your route and save it as a GPX file. Then you connect
the Garmin via USB to the tablet and send the route.gpx with Garmin
Exchanger to the Garmin GPS. That is all.It is important that you have an android device with USB host mode (like NEXUS 7 2013).
Sowas koennte funktionieren, aber leider gibt es das nur fuer Android...
