Non commercial flights
Overflights, technical stops, private flights and flights by
Government owned aircraft are deemed non commercial flights.
- Aircraft registered in ICAO member countries:
Non commercial flights made by civil aircraft registered in an
ICAO member country are solely required to file a flight plan with
the competent authority in charge of air traffic.
However, this procedure is applicable only to aircraft registered
in countries which also accept non commercial flights by French
aircraft simply upon filing of a flight plan.
Filing of a flight plan is mandatory for every flight crossing a bor-
der of metropolitan France, even if flying according to visual
flight rules
